Financial Aid Application Deadline. The completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be RECEIVED by the federal processor by this date. A complete list of notifications of the deadline is available here.

Separate Applications for Summer Work-Study available from the UNH Financial Aid Office.

MARCH - MAY 2008
Incoming freshmen and transfer students receive decisions on financial aid applications from the UNH Financial Aid Office.

NOTE: In order to be reviewed for Federal Financial Aid for the 2007/2008 academic year, UNH must have your correct, complete FAFSA by your last day of enrollment (May 22, 2008).

MAY - JUNE 2008
Students who have been approved for the Summer Work-Study Program find jobs and complete the appropriate hiring forms with their employer.

MAY - JULY 2008
Upon approval by the Financial Aid Office (e-mailed to student and supervisor), students begin Summer Work-Study Jobs.

Continuing undergraduate students and graduate students receive decisions on financial aid applications from the UNH Financial Aid Office.

New Stafford Loan Borrowers will receive instructions on how to complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN) on-line. All first time Stafford Loan borrowers are required by Federal Regulations to complete Entrance Loan Counseling. This can be done on-line at Mapping-Your-Future.

JULY 2008
Students receive e-mail notification of first-semester tuition, fees, room and board bills. (Students will receive e-mail notifications of semester II billing for academic year 2008-2009 in November, 2008.)

AUGUST 2008
Academic year Work-Study job listings are available.

Fall 2008 semester classes begin on Tuesday, September 2, 2008.
After completing the appropriate hiring forms with their employer and receiving a work study approval e-mail, students begin academic year Work-Study jobs.
